It is the goal of the Mission to Seafarers to visit every ship that calls on the Port of Seattle.  With our limited staff, we count on the help of volunteers to reach this goal.  Seafarers are often isolated while they are at sea and in port. Having a friendly visit from one of our ship visitors, someone to provide help with SIM cards, or just another person to listen to them tell stories about their families or adventures on sea is a huge gift in keeping up the spirits of these hard working individuals.
