Our Ship Visitors

Our ship visitors are an essential part of what we do here at MTS. We have a few permanent ship visitor volunteers who come in on a regular basis, and many others who come in when their schedule permits.

Our Interns and Service Corps Members

The Center hosts interns, fellows, and service corps members through several different programs throughout the year. These many internships and service year programs have been made possible through our partnerships with the Seattle Episcopal Service Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, NAMMA (North American Maritime Ministry Association), the ITF Seafarers' Trust, the Mission to Seafarers, and the Archdiocese of Seattle. Our interns and service corps volunteers interact directly with seafarers as ship visitors, and also have the opportunity to serve in various administrative and organizational capacities during their time with the Mission.
