The two main events that we host every year are the Cruise Ship Luncheon and Ditty Bag Day.  However, with your help, we may be able to add to that list to further our ability to provide services for the seafarers. Special event volunteers will help with the planning, logistics and day of activities for our events.  Our goal is to have a team that works to decide what the events will look like, and help fill the needs to get everything done.  You would work with the Office Administrator to accomplish all of the tasks involved. Or, maybe you just like to come to the events and have a specific skill you would like to offer – like Sandy Hanson, who manages the snack table at Ditty Bag day.  We often need people to help with guest registrations or volunteer sign ups. Eventually, our Special Events team will also help us reach out to get involved with more events – like this year we participated in the KIN Alternative Gift Fair, or helping out with our booth at the ECA Convention. We would like to make sure we have the resources available to be present in our community to help further our mission whenever possible.
